Local Optical Council (LOC) Facilitator
Judith, director of Exmoor Eyecare Opticians, Qualified at the City and East London in 1985 and has been practicing as a Dispensing Opticians since.
She has managed both Independent and multiple practices and specialises in low visual aids and children’s spectacles. “Correctly fitting spectacles are important for your vision and comfort, which is why I oversee all dispensing.”
She is able to advise on types of lenses and frames.
Freddie Kimsey F.B.D.O.: Dispensing Optician
Freddie joined our team in September 2013 after completed his ‘A’ levels and passed his final Dispensing Optician Course with ABDO in August 2016. Fred is now training to be a Contact Lens Optician.
Karen Marshall: Receptionist
Karen has worked for us since 2005 and has a vast experience in Optics and runs our reception and clinics smoothly and efficiently.
Daniel Searle: Owner
Daniel is responsible for the running of Exmoor Eyecare although he can occasionally be seen covering the reception area when required, but usually in the office doing all the paperwork. Daniel is also a Parish Councillor and Chairman of our Local Village Hall.
The practice has a good friendly support staff and all qualified staff regularly attend training courses to keep up to date with the latest techniques and practices.
